Littoral Sediment

Littoral Sediment -

Littoral sediment includes all shingle, gravel, sand and mud that sits across the tidal range throughout the coastline.

In Kent, 11,807 hectares of littoral sediment has been mapped out (KHS2003) - equivalent to one and a half times the size of Guernsey.
